Full Mouth Dental Implants Can Return Your Smile

Missing and failing teeth can steal your smile and make it hard to enjoy life. Failing dental health can mean difficulty chewing and speaking, discomfort and chronic pain, and feeling ashamed of your smile. You deserve a full set of functional teeth and a smile you feel good sharing.

In the past, traditional dentures were the only reasonable option for replacing your teeth. Many people expected their teeth would end up in a glass on their nightstand as an unavoidable part of the aging process. Today however, you can live with strong, stable, functional teeth that look and feel completely natural. Full mouth dental implants can replace your full set of teeth in an affordable, minimally invasive procedure with fast, comfortable healing. It also means you can enjoy your favorite foods and smile with confidence, enjoying a dream smile that will last a lifetime.

You Don’t Have to Settle For Old-Fashioned Dentures

When considering your options for replacing your teeth and rebuilding your smile, it’s important that you fully understand the benefits and pitfalls of each possible approach. While relatively inexpensive up front, old-fashioned dentures allow the bony arch of your jaw to shrink over time. As the shape and size of your jawbone changes over time, the fit of your dentures will become  compromised. Loose dentures shift, slip, and fall out. They rub and create uncomfortable sores. They frequently require unpleasant adhesives to function at all, and even the best-fitting dentures can’t withstand full biting pressure, meaning your food choices are limited. Denture wearers are frequently at risk for nutritional deficiencies and struggle with ongoing problems with their prosthesis. Full mouth dental implants on the other hand, can give you a complete set of strong, functional teeth you’ll never have to put in a glass. Full mouth dental implants can also create a stable anchor for a removable denture that can be clipped in place to eliminate shifting and slipping. Either way, your dental implant posts will prevent losing bone volume in your jaw and give you superior biting power meaning you’ll be able to smile with confidence and enjoy all your favorite foods for a lifetime.

Your Path to a Fully Restored Smile

Building your ideal smile with full arch dental implants will happen in a few stages. First, we’ll get to know each other and explore how your oral health problems are affecting your life, as well as your goals for how full mouth dental implants could improve your quality of life as well as your confidence. Your full mouth dental implant consultation is arguably one of the most important steps toward rebuilding your confidence with stable prosthetic teeth. Your smile is unique and it deserves completely personal attention. No two full mouth dental implants treatment plans are completely alike as we offer multiple options for full mouth rehabilitation with full arch dental implants so that you can get the right treatment for your needs, tailored for your anatomy and executed to ensure reliable results that will last. Before finalizing your plan, we’ll discuss every aspect of your surgery in detail so you can choose the options that are best for your smile goals and lifestyle. We’ll build a carefully considered treatment plan to address your needs with our digital dental design process. During this process, you’ll even be able to preview your smile with an accurate and true-to-life rendering of your customized smile design. On surgery day, you’ll rest comfortably with the dental sedation option that’s right for you. Then, we’ll place your dental implants into your jawbone at a 45 degree angle by utilizing our all-on-4 to six protocol. You’ll enjoy a stress-free, painless experience and start enjoying your new smile immediately with beautiful provisional teeth to carry you through the healing process. You’ll return after your full arch dental implants have healed and fused with your jawbone through a process called osseointegration to receive your final restorations and enjoy a shining smile that will last a lifetime under our ongoing care.

You won’t spend a single day without your teeth!

Why Two Sets of Teeth?

Part of our approach to providing an extraordinary dental implant experience is ensuring ideal placement in a strong foundation, followed by thorough healing and long-term maintenance. When your full arch dental implants are placed initially, they will need time to integrate with the bone tissue before they’re at full strength. To aid in the healing process, it’s best to treat them gently at first. However, we understand that you need to be able to live your life in the meantime. That’s why you’ll leave our office wearing natural-looking polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) resin crowns that are custom-created right here in our office. You won’t spend a single day without your teeth! PMMA is a lighter-weight material that won’t put unnecessary strain on your implant posts during the healing process. You’ll need to choose softer foods for a short time while your implants heal. Once they’ve fully integrated with the bone tissue, you’ll return to our office so that we can test your dental implants and ensure they’re strong and stable. Then you’ll receive your final prosthesis that’s constructed from hard, durable zirconia. Zirconia is a heavier material than PMMA. It’s the strongest ceramic material, and even more durable than natural tooth enamel. With the stability of your dental implant posts and the strength of full zirconia crowns, you’ll be able to enjoy all your favorite foods without limitations and enjoy your smile for a lifetime!
